It’s a good idea to keep your domains locked for an added layer of security. But if you need to transfer a name away from Uniregistry, you’ll need to unlock it.

Steps to lock/unlock a domain name at Uniregistry

 

1.  Log in to your account at Uniregistry.com using the ‘Log In/Sign Up’ button in the upper-right corner of the homepage.

2.  Click ‘Manage’ from the menu at the top of the page.

3.  From here you can quickly see the transfer lock status for your domains by noting whether the padlock icon is open or closed.

 

You can see if your domains are locked by looking at the padlock on the far right.

 

 

4.  If the padlock icon is open, it means that the domain is currently unlocked. To lock it, simply click the icon once and wait a few moments for the padlock to close.  To unlock a domain, click a closed padlock and wait a few moments for it to open.
